Whether you’re new to golf or looking to refine your skills, Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club Learning Centre offers a premium coaching experience on the Central Coast.

At the same time, you can learn and develop your golf skills while enjoying our award-winning golf course. We offer programs and lessons designed for all experience levels led by our team of experienced PGA Professionals. Our goal is to create enjoyable learning experiences that help participants build confidence, improve their game, and develop a lifelong passion for golf.

LESSONS

Golf lessons are available at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club with our Head Golf Professional, Gavin Sutherland. An Australian PGA Professional, Gavin is passionate about coaching and player development for golfers of all skill levels with 20 years of experience in the golf industry. This includes a decade of coaching abroad in the USA, Singapore, Dubai and Vietnam. He has cultivated a vast knowledge about all aspects of the game and a comprehensive array of skills to help assist golfers achieve their goals.

Lessons are also available with Beau Willett, a 3rd year PGA Associate who is passionate about helping golfers improve and enjoy the game. After attending college in the USA, Beau has played competitive golf for almost 15 years. He has also achieved the rare feat of recording 10 career hole-in-ones. With extensive playing experience and an approachable coaching style, Beau works with golfers of all ages and skill levels to reach their full potential.

As the premier destination on the Central Coast, we have an onsite driving range, large putting green and two short game areas to assist your practice and develop your skills. Whether you’re new to the game or an avid golfer, we’re confident that we can help you to achieve your golfing aspirations.

BOOKING INFORMATION

Lessons are by appointment only and are available Tuesday to Saturday. Payment is required at the time of booking and can be made here or call (02) 4316 5600.

We require a minimum of 24 hours prior notice to be given for any lesson or clinic cancellation. If golfers do not attend a pre-booked appointment or cancel within 24 hours, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. This fee equal to the lesson value. In the case of prepaid lessons, the lesson will be forfeited. Lesson rates are valid from November 2025.
