EXPLORE THE COURSE
Magenta Golf offers a unique 18-hole golf course set amongst some of the most inspiring and unspoiled surroundings on a pristine peninsula between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean.
This inspirational backdrop was a catalyst for world renowned Golf Course Architect, Ross Watson, to create a course unlike any other in the region, offering a unique golfing experience.
The course has the Pacific ocean on one side, Tuggerah Lakes on the other and Wyrrabalong National Park to the North. Every hole offers the golfer a wonderful landscape with stunning ocean and bushland views.
Magenta Shores’ design and sand based course is playable under weather conditions when many Central Coast and Sydney courses are closed.

No hole embraces the ocean and is more visually stimulating than this one on the course. An accurate tee shot is required on this lengthy par-five which sweeps right along the foreshores and provides the most scenic backdrop, you couldn’t get any nearer the water without getting wet. Your line should be left of the bunker on the right. Lay up the fairway to give yourself the best approach to a difficult green.
523m | 494m | 477m | 418m | 428m |
Hole 3
MEN Par 4
WOMEN Par 4

404m | 394m | 383m | 300m | 344m |

Hole 5
MEN Par 4
WOMEN Par 4
This hole has spectacular viewing from the tees out over the Pacific Ocean and facing north to allow you with a great view up the coastline. Whales have been seen from this hole breaching from the ocean from time to time. This is a short Par 4, make your first shot go past the bunker on the left and this hole plays a lot easier with a downhill run to the green. A deep bunker guards the front right of the green, making the safe shot middle left of the green.
354m | 338m | 318m | 260m | 292m |
Hole 6
MEN Par 4
WOMEN Par 4
This is a short dog-leg right Par 4 and can be a deservingly easy hole if played correctly, long hitters may be able to drive this green down wind with the right bounce. Otherwise take care with your shot in to the green as it falls away sharply on the left.
314m | 303m | 284m | 240m | 261m |
Hole 7
MEN Par 3
WOMEN Par 3
A great little Par 3 that is well bunkered. It has bunkers on the left with a large deep bunker on the right. Waiting for you is a two teared green sitting from back to front.
135m | 128m | 110m | 117m | 117m |
Hole 8
MEN Par 5
WOMEN Par 5
A Par 5 that begins with an elevated tee shot giving great views of the hole. There is O.B on the left of the fairway traps on the left. Down wind the bunkers on the right are in play for the long hitters. Your lay up 2nd shot should be on the left for the best approach to the green.

438m | 411m | 401m | 345m | 345m |
Hole 10
MEN Par 5
WOMEN Par 5
A narrow tee shot, with the bunker coming into play on the right. Again depending on your tee shot, this green is reachable in two for the long hitter. Most of the bunkers in front are within 100m of the green. You may find that laying up will give you the best chance of making birdie, but beware the of the 2 tier green.
497m | 480m | 459m | 407m | 407m |
Hole 11
MEN Par 4
WOMEN Par 4
This short Par 4 that dog legs slightly to the left gives the player a couple of options. Option 1 is to play safe to the right of the fairway bunker. Option 2 would be to play aggressively over the left hand trap which will leave a second shot of less that 100m. What ever option you take be mindful of the sloping (right to left) elevated green and challenging greenside bunker on the right.
334m | 314m | 307m | 269m | 269m |

165m | 147m | 137m | 118m | 118m |
Hole 13
MEN Par 4
WOMEN Par 4
This is a challenging Par 4 with a narrow fairway. Left of the tallest tree is not the ideal area, with large undiscovered tribes still waiting to be found. A solid tee shot to the top of the downslope is the safest play. If you catch the slope the ball will roll a further 40m. There is a lot of bunkering short right of the green that funnels to the centre.
326m | 307m | 290m | 259m | 259m |
Hole 14
MEN Par 4
WOMEN Par 4
A gorgeous par 4 that requires the most precise tee shot. Again left of the fairway run out on the right before the hole sweeps left. the second shot is downhill to a large green, however watch for the greenside bunker on the right and the trouble behind the green.
381m | 372m | 356m | 243m | 308m |

WOMEN Par 4

361m | 351m | 338m | 315m | 315m |
Hole 18
MEN Par 5
WOMEN Par 5
This last hole is a highly challenging finishing hole. It has a wide fair way with bunkers coming into play. Your best option for your second shot is to lay up short of the fairway bunkers, which will leave you around 100m into a large guarded bunker to leave a short iron approach to a large sloping green that will challenge anyone’s putting game if you leave it short of the hole.
